Stewart & Anna’s Story

Tucked into a quiet riverside corner of the valley, Stewart and Anna chose a truly magical setting for their celebration. With the water flowing gently behind them and tall trees swaying in the autumn breeze, their ceremony by the river felt like a scene from a dream — intimate, grounded in nature, and full of meaning.

The entire day unfolded with the kind of ease and grace that only comes when two kind, joyful souls bring together an incredible group of people. Stewart and Anna were not only wonderful to work with — warm, present, and full of laughter — but also surrounded by family and friends who matched that same spirit.

This was one of the larger weddings I’ve filmed, with over 150 guests and many moving parts, yet everything ran flawlessly. That’s a credit to Brilliant Events — Hayley and Liz were both incredibly professional and calm throughout the day, making my job behind the camera a smooth one.

One moment I won’t forget: During the thank-you speeches in the evening, amidst parents, siblings, and close friends, Stewart and Anna took a moment to thank me personally — in front of everyone. It was heartfelt and unexpected, and even though I don’t shoot for recognition, it meant a lot to feel that kind of appreciation.

Sunwolf gave us perfect weather and the kind of natural textures I love filming — flowing water, open sky, soft wind through trees. The combination of a beautiful place, incredible people, and genuine moments made this wedding a highlight of my season.
