As a Whistler elopement videographer, I’ve had the chance to film some truly unforgettable moments — but this day with Jamie & Haleigh stands out as something special.

Together with photographer Logan Swayze, with whom I’ve worked on multiple weddings, we moved as one. At this point, we barely need to speak — just a quick glance and we know exactly what the other is capturing. That level of collaboration made documenting this intimate mountain top ceremony a seamless, joyful experience.

Everything about this elopement felt just right — from the golden light reflecting off the lake to the quiet magic of an early fall day in the mountains. It was peaceful, emotional, and completely personal.

I still remember Jamie looking at Haleigh, smiling as he said how grateful he was to be marrying her “on a freakin’ mountain top.”
